Service and Advocacy

Service

Zonta Club of South Bay has been working with 1736 Family Crisis Center: a local non-profit providing shelter and “wrap around” support for victims of abuse and trafficking. (1736FCC.org).

We have been donating needed personal care supplies, masks, gift cards and holiday gift bags for the residents to provide a bit of joy and a sense of normality to struggling families.

In December, we also "adopted” a single mother with two small children and provided gifts to make sure they all had a festive holiday.

‘Gems Uncovered’ is a Long Beach based non-profit founded by Mary White, CEO to fight human trafficking and help victims through the program providing support, alternative shelter, training and education.  (gemsuncovered.org)
